ඇපල් කිවම හැමෝම දන්නවා නේ iPhone ගැන, නමුත් ඇපල් සමාගමෙන් නිර්මාණය කරපු තවත් ගොඩක් දේවල් තියේනවා. MAC OSX , MAC , Apple TV වගේ දේවල්. නමුත් වැඩියෙන් කතා බහට ලක් වෙන්නේ iPhone ගැන.
මුල්ම iPhone එක නිර්මානය උනේ 2007 ඇපල් CEO Steve job අතින්. මේක හදුන්වා දුන්නේ "a wide-screen iPod with hand controls... a revolutionary mobile phone... and a breakthrough Internet communications device," iphone.
iPhone එක ගැන කතා කරකොට කතා නොකරම බැරි දෙයක් තාම iOS කියන්නේ. ඇපල් MAC පරිගණක වල බවිත වෙන MAC OSx එකේ මොබයිල් version එක ios කියලා කිවොව්ත් වඩාත් නිවැරදියි . මොකද iOS නිමානය වෙලා තියෙන්නේ MAC OS වල බවිතා වෙන Kernel එක මතමයි. ios එක ප්‍රදාන වශයෙන් ලේයර් හතරකට බෙදෙනවා. Core OS layer, the Core Services layer, the Media layer, and the Cocoa Touch layer කියලා. C සහ Objective C iOS programing සහා බවිතා වෙනවා. තවද GUI එක සදහා COCA touch යන Framework එක බවිතා කරනවා.
iPhone 1 සිට iPhone 5 දක්වා දිවෙන iPhone පරාසය විවිද පහසුකම වලින් සමන්විතයි . දැනට තිබෙන සියලමු වර්ග්යේ iPhone ARM ප්‍රොසෙසර් වලින් තාම බල ගැන්වෙන්නේ. iPhone තුල තියෙන ඩිස්ප්ලේ එකට retina නමින් හදුන්වන ඇපල් සමාගමෙන් හදුන්වා දුන්න තන්ක්ෂන්යක් තාම හොදගන්නේ. මිනිස් ඇහැට මෙහි පවතින pixelation එක හදුනා ගැනීමට අපහසුයි.. සෙන්ටිමිටරයකට පික්සල් 128 මෙහි යොදාගන්නවා. display එකට යොදාගන්න aluminosilicate ප්ලාස්ටික් වලට වාඩ 20 වාරයක් දැඩි බවක් හා 30 වාරයක් ගනවත්
ios 6 එක්ක හදුන්ව දුන්න Siri (artificial intelligent) pre defined voice command වලින් ඔබ්බට රැගෙන යනවා. massage එකක් යැවීමේ සිට to do reminder ලෙසත්. personal assistant කෙනෙක් ලෙසත් siri ව බවිතයට් ගන්න පුළුවන්.
ඇපල් සමගම ඇමරිකන් ඩොලර් මිලොයන 150ක් පමණ iPhone 1 නිම්නය සදහා වියදන් කරලා තියෙනවා , 2007 දී iPhone.com කියන domain එක මිලදී ගන්න ඇමරිකන් ඩොලර් මිලියන් 1 වැය කරලා තියෙනවා. iPhone එකක් එක්ක පේටන්ට් 200 කට වැඩි ප්‍රමානයක් රෙගිස්ටෙර් කරලා තියෙනවා. iPhone එකට moisture sensor එකක් ඇතුලත් . මේක charger connecter එක සහ hand free connecter තුල දැකිය හැකියි. දැනට බෂා 21 iPhone එක තුල සමන් විතරයි. විශේෂයෙන් සදාන් කරන්න ඕනේ. Sinhala බාෂාව ඇතුලත් කියන එක. ලගදීම නිකුත් වීමට තිබෙන io7 දේමල බාෂාව සහදා keyboard එකක් ද නිර්මනය කරලා තිබෙනවා. ලගදීම Sinhala keyboard අපිට බලාපොරොතු වෙන්න පුළුවන්. අද වෙනකොට Apps මිලියන දෙකට ප්‍රමානයක් App Store වල ඇතුලත් වෙනවා. දිනකට App දලවශනේ 600ක් පමනට ඇතුලත් කරනවා. බිලයන 50 ක වැඩි බාගත කරනීම් වාර්තා වෙනවා.
ලගදීම පැමිණෙන iPhone 5s තුල ඇගිලි සලකු හදන ගැනීම පහසුකමක් ඇති බැව තාම වාර්තා වෙන්නේ. එවගේම ඉදිරියේදී iPhone එකට water cooling පද්දතියක් ඇතුලත් කරන්න බලාපොරොතු වෙනවලු.
